How the Pneumatic Assembly Works
The actuator converts air pressure into the turning movement of the ball. A double-acting actuator uses air for both directions; a spring-return design uses a spring for one direction when air pressure is removed. The required action forms part of the assembly specification.
Accessories such as a solenoid valve, position indicator or limit switches connect the assembly to the control system. For hazardous locations, the actuator and its accessories need to suit the area classification; pneumatic operation alone does not establish that suitability.

Where Pneumatic Operation Fits
