Trunnion-Mounted Construction
The trunnion arrangement supports the ball at its rotational axis. This differs from a floating ball valve, where the ball moves against the downstream seat under line pressure.
The gearbox provides mechanical assistance for manual operation. Together with the flanged body, it gives the Q347F a practical arrangement for pipeline isolation and routine operation.
