How the Pneumatic Assembly Works
The actuator converts air pressure into the turning movement of the ball. A double-acting actuator uses air for both directions; a spring-return design uses a spring for one direction when air pressure is removed. The required action forms part of the assembly specification.
Accessories such as a solenoid valve, position indicator or limit switches connect the assembly to the control system. For hazardous locations, the actuator and its accessories need to suit the area classification; pneumatic operation alone does not establish that suitability.

On a site with an established air supply, pneumatic operation can be a practical choice for repeated on/off sequences. Where there is no suitable air network, an elektrikli top valfi may be easier to integrate. The choice starts with the services and controls already available at the installation.
Process and chemical lines
Pneumatic ball valves provide remote isolation for batch operations, transfer lines and process equipment. Body and seat materials need to suit the medium; the actuator determines how the valve responds to the control system.
Water and utility systems
Automated opening and closing can support treatment stages, circulation systems and equipment isolation. Valve size, closing time and the operating sequence should work together, especially on liquid lines where sudden changes in flow can create pressure surges.
