API 607 is a fire-test standard, not a general fire-protection approval. For cryogenic duty, agree the applicable service standard and test requirements before ordering.

Compare the valve specification and operating arrangement together. A manual isolation valve in an accessible line and an electrically operated valve on a remote pipe rack may need the same body material but different supporting equipment. Include the available power and control requirements where actuation forms part of the order.
