The Q41F is a flanged floating ball valve for quarter-turn isolation in industrial piping. The ball is held between its seats rather than supported by trunnions; line pressure presses it toward the downstream seat to form the seal.

Floating Ball Construction
The floating ball moves slightly under line pressure, bringing it into contact with the downstream seat. PTFE seats provide the sealing surfaces around the ball, while the quarter-turn stem connects it to the operator.
